I've been quiet about the baby for a while BUT the little one's been one active fella. Apparently I'm supposed to be charting his sleep/wake cycle to know when he's awake and when he's asleep. BUT he seems to be awake all the time! In the morning, he's doing his morning exercises and at night, when he's meant to be lounging around, he's moving about again! If this is any indication of how awake he's going to be when he comes out, I'm going to be one tired mama. Still... I can't wait to see his tiny hands and legs that have been causing a stir in there.
On the parent front, mummy and daddy chng have signed up for an antenatal class starting in March. Hopefully this will help us prepare mentally and equip us for what is to come. Some have said that it's not really necessary, but I think we'd still like to be prepared! Thanks to Leanne for recommending the class! :)
One word of advise! If you're planning to buy a car and have children. GET A CAR WITH A BOOT! The last couple of months, we have been researching strollers and car seats and last weekend, a few places publicised "SALE". So... with our list in hand, we went to make our very first baby purchase. Thing is... when we tried fitting the strollers in our Suzuki Swift boot, we had to eliminate 3 out of the 4 on our list. I guess that pushed the decision making process along... but we did have to buy the most expensive option. Good thing is, we did get a 20% discount and saved more than $150!
So much of my Sunday afternoon was spent looking at our new car seat and imagining the little one in it. Ah... the joys of anticipation!

you're welcome! see you bought a quinny in the end.. which one? :)
We bought the Quinny Zapp in the end. :o) Simply because of how small it folded into. And the Maxi Cosi seat that fits onto the Zapp frame.
We couldn't fit the Capella in. Length wise, it was a little too tight. Pity.
we have the Zapp too! :) we were using the Be Safe car seat from First Few Years with the Zapp frame but we're getting lazy transferring it from car to stroller... hence the Capella. heh.
we have the Zapp too! :) we didn't buy the Maxi-Cosi attachment cos we thought the Be Safe one was a little bigger (we anticipated Zachy would be pretty big) and would accommodate the bub for a longer time. we were getting lazy transferring it from car to stroller though hence the Capella purchase. heh.
I believe it's so you will be aware should there be a significant drop in activity when he's meant to be awake and active. I guess for first-time moms, techniques like this are meant to make up for the lack of experience. BUT... so far, it's not really helped cos I can't chart the cycle anyways!
10 a day? I often get 10 in one sitting. That can't be bad right? Either that or I'm not feeling it right...
