Swimming Lessons

John's learning to swim (officially!). I signed both of us up for once-a-week lessons with aquaducks after John took well to our trial session last Thursday. The lessons are held at the Suntec City swimming pool and lasts 30 minutes each time, which i feel is just the right amount of splash time for the little ones. There were 2 other babies, both above a year old. John was the only real 'baby', but he held his own and mummy was really proud. We sung songs and bopped the bubs in and out of the water. We also learned how to prepare them to be submerged in the water. I don't think John will have a problem with that cos i'm already teaching him how to go underwater in my in-law's tub. :)

Baby couture for the lesson included a swim diaper (which is probably meant to catch poo in case an accident happens) and a konfidence baby warmer wet suit, both bought at Isetan Parkway. The wet suit did wonders in keeping John warm throughout the session and i would highly recommend this type of swim wear instead of the thin versions sold in most swim suit stores.

I'm definitely looking forward to this Thursday's session. I hope we'll try submerging this week. :)

We haven't been able to bring Elisha swimming yet. :( We changed him into a swimming diaper but the sky got dark so he couldn't swim.

Lo and behold he decided to poop on the way home, and shit, poo and pee got all over him and his car seat! Good thing we could wash it! haha!!

John is such a cutie... :)
