On this Mothers' Day, I also want to pay tribute to my mum. To me, she embodies the Proverbs 31 woman. She's one of the most beautiful women I know, both inside and out and she's so full of love, not for herself but for everyone around her. She's been my inspiration and my best friend for the longest time and I cannot imagine life without her. She's my example of a good mother and I pray I will do as good a job with my children as she has done with me. I love you mum!!!

Today's also a very special day because it's my very first Mothers' Day as a mother. It's a day I can reflect and be truly thankful for the opporunity to be a mother to my beautiful baby John. He's just brought me so much joy and when he looks at me with what I believe is unadulterated love, it just melts my heart. I love being a mummy and I'm happy I will be one for the rest of my life.

Thanks Jo. :) Had to chop off the locks after massive post-baby hair shedding and the massive regrowth of baby hair that decided to defy gravity in a big way.
