Developments

Once again, I've been quiet again. But this time, I've got a good reason. :) We've been living in a rental for 4 months since January this year and our house was finally completed in March. Since then, we've been working with our interior designer to do the place up and I'm really happy that it turned out really nice. We managed to move in on the 29th of April and since then we've been fine tuning, sorting out small problems and unpacking. I can now say that our house looks and feels like a home. :) Now, I've got to start thinking about how I'd like to do up the baby room. Updates on this will come in the coming weeks.

On the baby front, we saw our doctor last Saturday and once again, baby's healthy! Praise God!At the previous appointment, the doctor had said that the baby was breeched, meaning his head was at the top of my tummy and I had to really hope that he'd turn by the time I'm ready to birth. I was only slightly concerned because I still had 11 weeks to go. Needless to say, I still worried about iabout the implications as the weeks went by. I prayed about it and I spoke to the baby about being a good boy and turning around. Indeed, he did! My little obedient one had turned 180 degrees and is now upside down. :) It just makes it that much more of a reality for me as well.. that the baby's almost ready.

Also, based on measurements, our little one's 2.6kg already... with 6 weeks to go! My doctor said that the baby's bigger than the average baby and that I need to keep an eye on my diet to ensure he doesn't become toooo big. So that means I've got to lay off my sweets and chocolates and watch my carb intake as well. 3 days on, and I can say that it's been hard! I just love my chocs and little munchies. And it doesn't help that such has become the 'forbidden fruit'! But, I do also want a natural birth, and I'm trusting God for a supernatural one, but I've also got to do my part. So, please don't be tempting me with kit kats and crisps ewhen we meet.

But it's soon now... and I can't wait to see the little one. :)
