On Saturday we attended the wedding of two of our friends at the Capella. I think deep inside I'm a hopeless romantic and one thing that really moves me is seeing two people joined together in the eyes of God. I am almost always moved to tears at every wedding I attend... Not always the best when I have to lead worship for the ceremony. By the time the bride is reaching the front, I realise I've got to compose myself and get a move on!
It was a lovely ceremony at the Gallery room facing the sea. It was a breath-taking view! Then we adjourned to a room upstairs for a delicious 4-course western lunch. Even John got a kid's version of a 4-course lunch!
Towards the end of the meal, the DJ pumped up the music and although it took a while to get the mostly shy, Christian guests to take the floor, by the time the Champagne really kicked in, the party finally got started!
John had a lot of fun. Actually A LOT is an understatement! The tyke loves music and dancing, so he promptly took his place on the dance floor and did his thang! Here's a video of what went down... Notice that a few other little girls shower flower petals over him (he is quite the charmer, especially in his Monsoon outfit!), but he runs away to another part of the dancefloor!
