Sentences... finally!

So we've been trying to teach the little one how to say full sentences and as of today, he can clearly say 2. Actually, he can say more, but the sentences tend to revolve around these two (especially the second one). They are *drumroll*

1) Dear Jesus, please bless our food, amen.

2) Mummy, can I have some kiwi (or soup, juice, tv etc) please?

And yes... Although a little slow on the speech front, I'm still beaming with pride each time he says anything I really understand.

Here's a video of John saying #2:

He's not slow!! :)

Mine doesn't say such long sentences and if he were to say the kiwi sentence, he would probably say "I want kiwi pleaseeeee, Mom- meeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! " hahaha!

But the fact that I can understand what he says and he can converse with me makes me very happy already! :)

Yeah... It's really nice to be able to understand what he's saying. He still has a long way to go though. :) I'm sure he'll say a lot more when he starts school, like Elisha did.

Oh yes! He can recognise Tory for sure and he'll say "Tory's here" whenever I show him a photo of her. :) I hope they remain friends for a long time.
